Thick white glazed ceramic body with copper countersunk rivets, plated brass contacts with steel tension springs. 'Bossed' mounting holes permit sub panel/beneath the chassis mounting.  Exactly the same socket as found on many expensive modern triode amps. I've been using these in some of my own projects for over nine years now and they've held up just fine. 1.75" mounting centers, fits to 1.375" hole in chassis.
